The world of creative photography is an adventuresome one in which the photographer’s vision prevails. Everyone sees and interprets the world differently. Drawing from a wide array of tools and techniques, the creative photographer picks and chooses those that will best convey an idea on film. Sometimes this means altering or distorting reality thraough the use of special filters or lenses; at other times it means altering or distorting reality through the use of special filters or lenses; at other times it means reducing the elements of scene to an abstract composition; at still other times it can mean letting a representational image speak for it self. As a creative photographer, your challenge is twofold: you need to perceive a subject in your own way, and you need to be abke to execute your interpretation of it technically.

A motion-picture director once said that a good technoque is succesful when the audience asin’t really aware of it. Technique should not be an obvious result but rather a gentle means to that end.
As a photographer, you are more than button pusher; you can strive for photoraphs that reflect your soul, not ones that are merely clinical examples of technique. Be individual in your picture taking and enjoy the personal rewards. Photography is all about personal expression.

Go out and keep in mind that picture-taking should be fun
